Here at SHPPS we seek to nurture and develop the children’s love for reading and books. During Book Week stories were read to our children by: Year 8 Shrewsbury House boys, visiting author Serena Hassan, secret readers (parents), and by all of the different staff at SHPPS in a special story time. Dozens of books were swapped at our daily ‘Book Swap’ while many amazing books were purchased at our special ‘Book Fair’.
Book Week ended with the whole school celebrating ‘World Book Day’ with children and staff dressing up in a range of fantastic costumes. This is always one of the highlights of the year!
