Our Year 2 children each had the privilege of planting their own tree in Forest School, as a nationwide initiative created to mark the Platinum Jubilee. The children have learnt that over time the trees will increase oxygen levels, reduce carbon dioxide, provide a home for different species and produce flowers and berries for birds and insects.
