On Thursday our Reception class went to Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest inhabited castle in the world! They had a fascinating tour around the castle including the “secret room” where His Majesty King Charles eats Christmas lunch! The children were delighted when they heard that the King was arriving at the Castle that afternoon. Sadly, they didn’t see him but they did witness the Royal Standard being raised on the flagpole as he entered the castle!
