This week, our Reception class had a very exciting visit from Commander Matt and his firefighting team at Painshill Fire Station. The children were keen to investigate the equipment used by the firefighters and discussed how to stay safe around fire. Just when we thought things could not get more exciting, the firefighters were called off to a real emergency! We loved hearing the noisy sirens and seeing the blue flashing lights whizz off along Milbourne Lane!
