Shrewsbury House Pre-Preparatory School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from three to seven years. It was founded in 1912 and is part of the Shrewsbury House School Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors.
The centre-piece of the School is a beautiful, historical house that has been modernised and extended to include a nursery as well as new classrooms and a library.  The School is fortunate to have its own sports hall and heated swimming pool.  There is also a large play area and an extensive sports field with a pavilion.   All children use these facilities at break times for sport and as part of our Forest School programme.

TEACHER ASSISTANT REQUIRED TO START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Permanent, term time only plus 3 days before and after each term

We are seeking to find a capable and friendly Teaching Assistant to come and join the team at Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School in 2017 to assist with our small classes.

We need an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (KS1) to join a team of dedicated professionals, Level  NVQ3 qualifications are essential.  The successful candidate should work well as part of a team, and have good communication skills. Our thriving independent pre-prep school has a reputation for academic, sporting and musical excellence, and offers a friendly working environment, well-resourced, purpose-built classrooms and the latest ICT facilities. This full-time, term-time post would suit an enthusiastic candidate with lots of energy and a proven track record of experience of working with young children.
