Shrewsbury House Pre-Preparatory School is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from three to seven years. It was founded in 1912 and is part of the Shrewsbury House School Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors.
The centre-piece of the School is a beautiful, historical house that has been modernised and extended to include a nursery as well as new classrooms and a library.  The School is fortunate to have its own sports hall and heated swimming pool.  There is also a large play area and an extensive sports field with a pavilion.   All children use these facilities at break times for sport and as part of our Forest School programme.

Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School (formerly known as Shrewsbury Lodge School) in Esher, Surrey is an independent day school for boys and girls aged from three to seven years. It was founded in 1912 and is part of the Shrewsbury House School Trust and is administered by a Board of Governors.  It is a happy School with a welcoming environment.

From January 2019 (or September 2018 if available), Shrewsbury House Pre-Prep School, part of The Shrewsbury House School Trust, is seeking to appoint a part-time (3 days per week), experienced Head of Music to teach children of Nursery to Year 2 and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet the needs of each individual child, covering their learning and social needs.  The Head of Music will offer pastoral care and support, providing the children with a secure environment in which they can learn.  They should have the ability to build good relationships with children, parents and colleagues and show effective communication skills.  Patience, a sense of humour and a willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning are useful attributes. The successful candidate will be required to make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school, including attending whole-school annual events which may not fall in designated work hours.

Shrewsbury House School Trust (SHST) are looking to secure a motivated, experienced and ambitious part-time swim teacher to lead the provision of swimming at Shrewsbury House School (Surbiton) and Shrewsbury House School Pre-Prep (Esher). The right person will be an experienced swim teacher with the energy to lead the delivery of all aspects of swimming within our schools (pool on-site). They will be responsible for teaching all year groups, the safety of the pool and surrounds, internal galas and team selections for external events. Sport at SHST is a vital and vibrant part of school life and the successful candidate will join an experienced and motivated Sports Department. This is a part-time role (approximately 25 hours per week) for a fixed term of 1 year. Must have current, valid lifesaving and swimming qualifications.
